The X-Rayl® Sensor S3DST is based on the latest radar technology and allows for distance measurements of objects with millimeter precision, up to a range of 2 meters from the sensor. The S3DST can be used without further calibration.

By measuring the spring deflection of the wagon and applying a sophisticated algorithm it is possible to make assertions about the current asset load condition. This allows for better differentiation of the loading states than simple magnet contacts.

Since the sensor is certified according to the highest ATEX standard available on the market today, it is possible to use the sensor even in sensitive conditions such as the transport of chemicals.
